Hello Everyone!!!

I am Md. Shajedur Rahman Shawon from Bangladesh. I am a doctor who want to be a Public Health Researcher. I completed my Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from Dhaka Medical College, Bangladesh in July 2011. After completing my internship at Dhaka Medical College Hospital I started my career in public health as a Research Assoicate in BRAC Healthcare Innovations Program (bHIP) at James P Grant School of Public Health which aims to help jump-start the journey to Universal Health Coverage (UHC) in Bangladesh. The project is funded by Rockefeller Foundation.

Alongside I am pursuing my Masters in Public Health (MPH) at North South University, Bangladesh to excel my knowledge in public health and research. I am very much passionate about public health approaches to mitigate the uprising magnitude Non-communicable diseases (NCD) and control of communicable disease in Bangladesh.

The aim of my website is to let you know more about me, my work, my accomplishments and my aspirations.
